As of late, I've been listening to a lot of Big KRIT and he's become a regular in my rotation and one of my favorite artists. He produces on the same tracks he raps on, his lyrics are deep, and he has a very smooth flow. His latest project 4eva N A Day follows up as another solid mixtape to add to Big KRITs catalog. 

This mixtape plays like a day in KRITs life and its a very honest, real trip. The tape starts with the alarm ringing, then,  getting ready to face the day, missing a loved one, and riding in his favorite car. Big KRIT covers a wide subject range in his music and he speaks from the perspective of a man who wants to do the righteous thing, but is honest enough to admit the temptations of evil. Its refreshing to hear music that parallels the life we lead everyday and not the same stories about selling bricks, shooting guns, and fine women everyday. Click the link to check it out today.

This post is for anybody who subscribes to Netflix and enjoys watching movies of all kinds. I'll review a movie or TV show that is currently on Netflix and hopefully you guys can look it up and check it out as well. I'm a big anime fan and I was scrolling through Netflix when I found an anime series called Gungrave. The creator of Gungrave is the same creator of Trigun, (another series I recommend) and since I though Trigun was amazing I gave Gungrave a shot too. 

Gungrave has one of those stories where if I try to explain it, you'll end up knowing the suprise. So just take my word for it and watch it, if you like anime and you like action and shooting and blood and stuff like that.... You'll like Gungrave.

Checking in again with another mixtape review, this one from one of my favorite artists Wiz Khalifa. After Rolling Papers many people thought Wiz "lost it" and Taylor Allerdice was the perfect project to put any doubters to rest. 

Taylor Allerdice reminds me of Kush and OJ, not as in a repeat, but the way the project flows from song to song and just sounds totally different from what most people are making. Features are kept to a minimum, Rick Ross makes noise on the mixtapes best track IMO Never Been Part II. Click the picture to download!

#ManIGotThis are gonna be my music reviews of other artists that drop dope music. Most of the time when I hear some new music and I wanna share it with somebody I say, "Man, I got this (inster artist) it go hard, you heard it yet?" And it kind of reminds of Don't Be a Menace when dude had the cheeseburgers but thats besides the point. 

Mac Miller dropped Macadelic yesterday I think and I downloaded to see what it was about. In a short explanation, it feels like a drug trip through Mac Miller's brain. The beats are real spacy, the samples are very weird, and the subject matter is very introspective and subjective. It really comes together and flows from song to song, and by the end it feels like you came down from a high because its hard to remember everything you just heard. 

The features are crazy as he got Lil Wayne, Camron, Kendrick Lamar, and Casey Veggies. There are other artists, like the song he has with Juicy J which goes hard, but those are the best features IMO. Especially the song with Camron I didnt know Camron was rapping still. 

But I feel like I'm rambling now so just go download it.

Today in Cleveland we held a march in protest of the killing of Trayvon Martin without warrant and his killer going free. I heard word of the rally yesterday on twitter and people were to meet up at Tower City dressed in hoodies in respect of the hoodie Trayvon was wearing during his altercation. I have even seen people in other cities bring Skittles to their rallies as that was the only thing Trayvon was carrying at the time.  

I didnt quite make the rally as the crowd marched to the justice center before I could make it but it was encouraging to see so many people taking action for injustice. Especially when this is something that didnt happen in our city. 

On Thursday, screenshots were sent around the internet of Abercrombie & Fitch's website selling a new color of "nigger brown" pants. I've never been a real big fan of A&F but I have bought a few of their items. However, situations like this are totally inexcusable. In 2012, we all should know by now what is offensive to each race base on their past histories. Especially worldwide corporations that employee these same people and deal with them everyday. I feel for A&F to post this shows they dont want black people to buy their clothes.. so I'll stop.
